Fenn Vogt was an engineer and artist from New Jersey. He graduated from Carnegie Tech in 1925 in Mechanical Engineering. His professional career was spent in maufacturing and at one point, worker training in the field of sheet metal fabrication. His experience in creating educational tools for sheet metal workers may have contributed to his interest in copper fabrication and prompted his exploration into sculpture.
